We had a great thanksgiving weekend. Granny and Grandpa flew in for a quick visit. We had so much fun eating thanksgiving dinner, taking advantage of black Friday and seeing the sights. We decided to drive to the temple and see the lights, I thought they were turned on the night before, when we pulled up at 6:30 and there were obviously no lights I assumed we were a few days early. After noticing the crowds of people we figured something must be up, as it turned out it was the official lighting of the grounds. They have a small concert each night so you can enjoy festive music while walking around. They had a special guest pushing the button that turned on the lights. They invited Brooke White to do the honors, when the crowd erupted in applause we began to wonder who she was. Her name did sound familiar, she was on American idol this past season finishing among the final few. She didn't sing but did tell a bit about her experience. The lights were beautiful, a photo just doesn't do them justice but I thought it would be fun to show some of the beauty. It is still interesting to see palm trees decorated with lights, they definitely have their own beauty.

I talked to Granny today. She said they had a great time with you this past weekend. I'm glad. Brad was here working today. We had a nice chat. His days here are so numbered. We'll surely miss him, as we miss you. I understand you (i.e. Sherylee) are coming to visit for a week, next week. We'd sure like to monopolize some of your time.
