We had a productive day Saturday. Monte "helped" save a life by donating blood, Karson and Kayden "helped" others by collecting food for the scout food drive. I then put them to work in our yard, "helping" us become self sufficient by building a garden and digging holes for our citrus fruit trees. We built a raised garden and plan to have dirt brought in this week and veggies planted by the weekend. We are also going to plant 4 citrus fruit trees, hopefully by the weekend as well. Karson got one hole part way dug, yes he is using a crobar to loosen the dirt then scooping it out with a shovel. It is unbelievable how hard the dirt is around here. He is now trying to negotiate wages for the remaining 3 holes. We also have tickets for the Flames / Coyotes hockey game on Saturday. Hopefully it is on "Hockey Night in Canada" so you can enjoy it with us. We are in the nose bleed seats but we're going to have a great time.

Sounds like a very productive weekend. It is so fun to check in on you guys every now and then. I got your blog page by visiting Camille's (hope you don't mind). Looks like we may finally have a place of our own again in about two weeks. Can't wait!!
