California Here we Come

We decided it was time to visit California, I'd only been there once many years ago and Monte had only been there on business. We were warmly welcomed into the great state. We spent a part of a day at Huntington Beach then a day at Knotts Berry Farm. We had a blast, we will definitely be back.





The wind farm just across the state line makes the Pincher Creek wind farm look tiny. There were windmills for as far as the eye could see.


We made it.


Our happy family. I'm not sure why I'm spending so much money one braces since Karson and Kayden never smile.

Going to try their luck on the belly boards. I really don't know what they are called but they had a great time. They do need splash guard shirts, these boards wore out their chests and stomachs.

This little guy swam up to shore just a few yards up the beach from us. He sunned himself for awhile before heading back out into the ocean. It is kind of discusting to think of all the creatures swimming just below you.


They were having a pro volleyball tournament by the pier. These ladies were amazing.


Supper!! We found this little place up Huntingting Beach main street. The word was it is a must stop whenever you are in town.

Kayden and Monte on the Supreme scream. They ride this several feet into the air. It goes up very slowly once you reach the top they let you drop.

This was Karson and Kayden's first time on a roller coaster. The last time they were at an amusement park was over 10 years ago. They tried many many rides. We all had a good time. The weather wasn't too hot, infact it was kind of chilly to be at the beach. Our favorite ride at Knotts Berry farm was the "silver bullet" It is a roller coaster type ride by you are attached on the top instead of the bottom, more like a swing. They also tried the "xcelerator" the G-force was something else. It made my stomach flip just watching it.

It was fun to see the boys enjoying themselves and trying something new.
