H A double L O double U double E N spells Halloween!!

The holiday seasons are upon us. We haven't quite got into the Halloween hupla like some down here but it was enjoyable. We went to Kiera and Joe's to carve pumpkins Friday night. I forgot the camera so just know they were amazing. (Unlike last year they wern't rotten before Halloween) We didn't get a lot of trick or treater's but it was a nice to sit out and enjoy the evening. Kayden needed a costume for his YM's activity Wednesday. I tried to convince him to put something together with what we had but he wanted to look at costumes from Party City. He decided to be a "Wiener" which I found incredible funny. The movie Mrs. Doubtfire with Robin Williams has a scene where Robin says I can act like a hotdog. Kayden put on the costume and did the hotdog look. I took a picture but I promised him I wouldn't post that picture but it is okay to post the normal looking pictures. We even got Monte to try on the costume. You remember Michelle's post about Chad and the "football Jersey" hanging in the closet. Thursday I went into Kayden's room looking for something and wondered where he put the wiener costume, it wasn't on the floor with all is other clothes, it wasn't laying in the bathroom but it was hanging in his closet. Are Kayden and Chad related?

Last Sunday Kayden was ordained to a Priest by his dad in his Priest class. He received a very nice blessing and some wise council from the bishop. He had the opportunity to bless the sacrament with his dad today. They both did an amazing job. The church is amazing, we have remarkable leaders. I was on lds.org because I wanted to listen to Elder Packers talk (the only one I kind of slept through) from conference. I kind of got side tracked, there is a 16 minute video with the highlights from all our general authorities. I watched it twice, it is amazing. I love these men, we are in good hands.

A wiener eating a wiener!!! After Kayden finished blessing the sacrament he leaned over to me and said "do you know what sounds really good right now, a hotdog". It is fast Sunday so he was hungry, I was also hungry but a hotdog was no where on the list of food I was craving.

Definitely one of my favorite posts! I'm jealous that wieners can wear shorts this late in the year. And I don't think there's any shame in a wiener eating a wiener. I had a corndog after church myself!

Congratulations on the Priest-dom Kayden. And we are a lot jealous that you didn't need the snowsuit underneath the weiner. The ironic part is I found Mrs Doubtfire for $5 so we watched it this weekend.

I can't believe you got Monte to put on the weiner costume. TOO funny.
Congrats to Kayden!! It has been far too long since we have seen you all!
