Last night at supper Monte and the boys were discussing their Christmas shopping that still needs to be done. I was well aware that Monte was waiting for Karson to get here before the 3 of them went out to do their shopping. (for me)
Karson asked Monte is he had decided what clock shop they were going to go to, Karson thought something with penguins would be nice. It is kind of a family joke. Several years ago I received this very beautiful clock from Monte and the boys. I am being sincere when I say it is beautifully made but it was one of those moments when you open the gift and you try to keep the smile on your face and the quiver out of your voice when you say thankyou.
I have yet to figure out why Monte, Brad, Brett, Karson and Kayden though a "coyotee howling at the moon" clock was the perfect gift for me. I remember Brad saying, "we thought you could put it in the living room since you don't have a clock in there." (this was at least 10-12 years ago)
I have since made a list, and I am keeping my fingers crossed. In all honesty I just want time with my husband and boys. They are Christmas too me, love my 5 boys.

I am so glad you posted a picture of the clock! I was wondering what it looked like...and it was exactly what I pictured!!! My mom has SEVERAL gifts like that too. Did she tell you about the grocery hook that helps her carry all her groceries in one swift trip?? My Dad thought that was the perfect gift for her!! Haha!
