a sneak peak

We are still awaiting the arrival of our bed but I thought I'd post a couple pictures of our dressers. Love them, and yes mine is the one with 12 drawers. I am in dresser heaven. The next step if shopping for house decor trying to find those amazing deals.

This past couple weeks I've wondered if we actually live in a desert or not. There is so much water around. Tonight Kayden and his buddy went lawn surfing in one of the green spaces by our house. He put on his swimsuit and went running and sliding through the water. I was going to go take a picture but I was up to my eyeballs in salsa.

I love love love the ranch market by our house. (it has replace the hutterites) We make the drive to Apache Junction every week or so for fresh cheap yummy veggies and fruit. They had roma tomatoes 3lbs for $1. I made 2 batches of delicious, better then any store bought, salsa. It cost about $0.60 a jar. I love a good deal. They also had flats of strawberries for $3. The berries were ripe and perfect for jam. Monte and I whipped up two batches of sugarless jam that is so delicious.

This past week I have been helping a friend with her cute twins, one of the little girls sustained a head injury when she hit her head on the tile, her mom need to stay home from work for 6 weeks and keep a close eye on her, while she was home she fell and broke her foot. Not only does she have two busy almost 1 year old toddlers to try and keep up too, one of them needing to be watched closely so she doesn't hit her head, she is hobbling around with a cast on her foot. It was fun playing with the super cute little sweeties.

Plans for this week is getting Kayden to the podiatrist to check out his funky toe, getting his braces off hopefully on Tuesday and possibly catching up on some scrap booking that I am way to far behind on.
Love to All

Very nice dressers! It looks like they were worth the wait! I can't wait to see a picture of the bed too. I'm very jealous of your farmers market. Imagine making salsa from fresh stuff in February!

Very jealous of the fresh veggies, a rare commodity in these parts. When and if I get the chance to visit, I plan to gorge myself on fresh veggies and fruit, Oh ya, and some Mexican food that makes my eyes water and my nose run. I very rarely go to a Mexican food place that knows what a Jalepeno is, let alone carry them.
