It is official, I just celebrated my 40th birthday, since I have felt like I've been 40 for a few years now it didn't seem like that big of a deal. I woke up to a dozen pink roses from my boys, I am so lucky. Kayden got them and put them out after I went to bed. (I was just saying to Monte that I have never in my life got a dozen roses / flowers before...now I have) This is a big year for Monte and I...I turn 40, he turns 50 and we celebrate 20 blissfully, happy years together (I ducked when I wrote that in case lightening struck). I know there are a lot of people out there that are shocked we have made it this far...for good reason, I am sometimes shocked myself. Before long I will be married longer then I was single, that seems harder to take then turning 40. Here's hoping for another 40 and 20...as long as Monte keeps taking his crestor, aspirin and fish oil capsules.

I didn't know it was the big 4-0!!! We definitely have to celebrate with a birthday lunch :)
i had no idea that you were turning 40 this year. Kind of funny that you have felt 40 for a while because from what me kids tell me 40 is the new 30 and 50 is the new 40. Somehow it will all confuse a tired brain. Let's get together and celebrate.
