Karson *206*

Karson Paul Kartchner how we love you

18 Years ago today at 10:14 am we welcomed our big, red haired baby boy into the world. He came in at 8 lb 8 oz and was 54 cm / 21 in. long. The big story was his head circumference 37 cm / 14 1/2 in. The doctor would come in and rub his head and mumble something like "wow'.

Today our boy also know as *206* (his weight at the beginning of football season) is over 200lbs and over 6' tall. He has had a very busy 18 years.

His major accomplishments this past month is breaking the school leg press record by 500 pounds. He pushed 1000 pounds. That just does not seem right but he had several witnesses and spotters. (Not enough to help him get the 1000 pounds off of him, I don't think)

It has been so fun going through pictures and remembering the past 18 years...enjoy, I kind of got out of control.

He was a busy guy. This was cute the first time he opened the drawn and had in dumped in seconds...he did this several times a day for several weeks. So fun to remember the gold appliances and lovely carpet in the kitchen.

Happy 1st birthday...new outfit from granny and grandpa Paul. Luckily the lovely carpet went up the hall as well.

The infamous brown cowboy hat and "Trigger" . He was a favorite.

Living out in the country meant clothing was optional...saved on laundry.

Ready to ride sheep...ignore the lovely sponge painting, it is amazing to think I thought this was beautiful.

This is one of my all time favorite pictures of Karson...he loved to be outside and loved to bring me the kitties he could catch. I love his cute little smile and pudgy cheeks.

A favorite past time...he is ridding "Sunny"...I know this because I wrote it on the back of the picture.

This is going to take some explaining, we were branding and this fiesty calf ran right through the chute and tried to get away. Luckily Monte and Mark were quick and got a hold of him before he got too far. Karson manned the tail.

Who can forget the Zorro days. (not his grade 1 teacher Mrs. Holt) he used to write Zorro on his spelling tests instead of his name. Very ingenious pumpkin for the school contest I think.

The "Cool" factor is setting in.

One of his favorite past times. Fishing and time with his dad.

An avid wakeboarder and waterskier.

Echo lake...the best time with friends...fishing.

Grade 9 grad

Romeril Lake, little blue boat, brother and a fishing pole.

High school band

Brothers and the best of buddies...a little out dated...Karson now towers over his brothers and out weighs them by a few pounds.

He has always been a dog lover. He does not get that from me.

Angelic Karson...the head angel in the Christmas nativity. Cold and windy up there.

Football at Desert Ridge High School

He has become such a handsome young man.

Grad 12 Zone champs

We are so proud of you...love mom dad and brothers.
