Mormon Prom

Kayden went to the mormon prom on Saturday. He had a fun filled day, cliff jumping in the afternoon then home to get ready before he headed off to meet up with his group. They then had supper at Soranos in Queen Creek before going to the dance. He really had a great day. I thought it would be fun to make the corsage and bout...forgetting I don't have access to my favorite flower shop in down town Cardston. I managed to pull it together and make something that was semi respectful. It was so nice of the stake to put on the prom since the one at his school can be less then appropriate at best.

My attempt at trying to make something work when you don't have everything you need.
The finished products...a little more difficult then normal due to my lack of practice and lack of supplies. I don't love working with cala lilies but they were the best I could find. A big thank you to the ficus trees and some bush in the back yard that resembled the box wood (I think that is what it was called) I used at the flower shop for the greenery.

Kayden looking handsome...ready to pick up his prom date!
