Well another week has come and gone and surprisingly I’ve been in Chambersburg for 2 months yesterday. It’s amazing how long I've been here and it feels like I got here yesterday. This week nothing too special happened we were disappointed by none of the investigators who said they were going to be at church showed up. But after we went to find out the reason why.

We went to see Leon and discovered that he had to work a double shift on Saturday. He had to work his usual 4pm to 2am shift and then another shift from 12 pm to some late time so he was dead tired and had a lot of work around the house to do, so he asked us to stop by later that night. We stopped by at about 8 o’clock at night and discovered that he had just gotten back from trying to get papers so he could get his kids a physical for school and that he had been going non stop. He started talking to us about how he wasn’t trying to avoid us that just since we met him he went from being usually pretty lax after work on the weekends to having to work non stop and getting no sleep and no time to himself. He was mad about it and he said that while reading the bible after we had left he came to the conclusion that satan was keeping him from talking to us by making him busy. He then decided to stop that and to call into work and get off early Saturday night so that he could sleep and make it to church on Sunday and then have a lesson with us after. He said he thinks there’s something about us that he likes he told us about how a jehovas witness came to his house and he said what she was teaching didn’t line up with what he knew so he avoided her. He then said but you boys have something about you your so calm I just don’t know what it is but I want to know, Elder Stewart then said its the gospel. Leon started askin a few more questions and then just said what your teachin is what I know.

He is extremely excited for church and hopefully we can get him and his family baptized before I get transferred. I have a real desire to baptize a black family for some reason I think it would make a cool pic. Speaking of pictures I have a hundred pics that I'm going to be sending home soon so keep an eye out for them I’ll probably make a cd up today sometime and get it shipped out. Nothing too much happened of great importance so I’ll end this email and hopefully you get my yerba mate in the mail some time I have been told by numerous people that its good for weight loss so I want to try drinkin it.
