The holiday season is upon us...we jumped in with both feet!
We were invited to have Thanksgiving Dinner with the "Winters" family, we are so lucky. I was asked to bring a few things including pumpkin pie. I probably should of confessed and let them know I had never made pumpkin pie (but I had a plan). My good friend Wendy had taught me how to make pie crusts...it took a few classes but I finally got pretty good at it. I knew my other good friend Karen made a delicious pumpkin chiffon pie so I had hoped I could pull it off after a phone call and some encouragement. They turned out awesome and tasted even better. I should of taken a photo after then were cut...there is a wonderful layer of whipped cream in between the pumpkin layers.
Taren and Brett enjoying their feast. Sorry Brett looks a little sleepy, I caught him mid blink or he was thinking quit bothering me and let me eat I am starving.
