Elder Kartchner called then thanks to Kayden / Brad's skype accounts we were able to get onto skype. We were greeted by Bro. Snyder dressed up like a red neck Pennsylvanian telling us that he offered his "puter" to the missionaries so they could skype. We then lost the connection and when they called back we were greeted by elder Kartchner.
We had an awesome visit. We were able to say hello to his companion Elder Hendrickson from Drayton Valley and the Snyder family. Snyder children often made an appearance to poke fun at and taunt Elder Kartchner. At one point Elder Kartchner said he never starts the taunting just finishes it...we then heard a wise voice in the background saying something along the line of him starting his fair share of taunting. "That's hard to believe"
It was a great visit...we could of talked all day but felt the need to wrap it up after an hour and a half so we didn't overstay our skype welcome.
Bro. & Sis. Snyder stepped into the picture and said Elder Kartchner is a great missionary and a super hard worker...he is known as the old mule. They even said they could tell he comes from a great family. I only added that part because later while Elder Hendrickson was talking to his family on another computer they were telling his family the exact same thing. Elder Kartchner stopped and asked if it was heartfelt or a prepared speech. (you probably had too be there)
And (I forgot) the most important thing...Elder Kartchner & Elder Hendrickson were able to baptize Lynn on the 23rd and confirm him on the 25th. That makes for a perfect Christmas.
