The last couple weekends were full of fun family activities. We headed to Woodruff for Jamie's wedding to Quince....congratulations (Unfortunately I failed to take my camera)
It was great catching up with family, the best part of family gatherings.
The next weekend we headed to Pima for the baptism of Monte's nephew Dallin. Monte was asked to give the talk on baptism...he did a great job. Congrats Dallin, what a great example.
After the baptism we had some yummy soups then I went Pecan picking with my sister in-laws, nieces and nephews. I now understand why pecans are so expensive...they not only have a shell but a "husk" over the shell. Luckily we took the husks off and I have an IGA bag of pecans that still need to be shelled. A project for next week.
As a side note when we were picking pecans off the ground I told Nola and Lisa that this would be Monte's worst nightmare. Monte soon arrived and after picking them out of the grass confirmed my statement by saying he'd never have one of these trees in his yard.
Monte's niece Nicole was also in a play that night which we were able to attend. Robin Hood was a great play and I'll say Nicole was one of the best performers, her acting and line's were awesome. She was one of Maid Marions Ladies in waiting.
We had a couple of late nights getting to and from the events but so worth spending time with family.
