Before I forget you asked me a letter or two ago what type of computer to get and I didn't answer but I'm kinda leaning towards the mac I mean for your pictures that you like to take the mac is the way to go plus a lot less maintenance with a pc you have to buy norton security and stuff like that to make sure its viruses free wheres the mac is just a tank and doesn't get viruses so even though its more money its worth it in the long run.
And I'm glad my room is intact I spent too much time trying to find those pictures and then hanging them and only having them for like 2 weeks it was tough to leave.
But I'm glad that you had a good week and I bet it went fast and tired everyone out but its good that you enjoyed it. Hopefully everyone got all the shopping and things that they needed done I'm kinda like a sense of a teacher to everyone I think so I'm glad I could be of help.
Well Elder Allred and I kinda had a rough week with appointments canceling and just not being able to get a hold of anyone so that made it really hard for me to keep motivated and not get discouraged but we made it through and looking back we did have some success with doing service and finding some people who we should be able to start teaching including the blessing of a guy who just showed up to church on his own who we never met before so that was good gave our week a boost. Its kinda tough to write about what goes on out here because it seems like not much really changes so I try to give you the highlights but its kinda tough when your only really teaching a few people and the rest of the time your walking around knocking on doors having people say Hello mormons go away I'm Jewish. but life does go good out here. One thing that happened was on Pday we were playing frisbee in chambersburg when a member from the other ward drove up saying that her kids were going crazy not listening to her and not doing there chores and making fake vomit and throwing it on the floor so one of the other elders volunteered us to go check it out. When we arrived you could tell that the kids didn't really have respect for the parents the walls all had holes in them from a kids and a screwdriver and they were just yelling and doing enough that I probably would a got beaten within an inch of my life. It really made me appreciate the upbringing I had where the law was enforced and it made me sad to see how little respect the kids had for there parents luckily we got um to do what they were supposed to so that was a little bit of a success.
This week we also had a blessing where we were going to go and see a LA that we had never met before. We knocked on the door and found out that the family didn't live there and that the family there now had just moved in a week or so ago so we started talking to them and they were looking for a church so we taught them a little just talked about the Book of mormon and christs ministry on the American continent and that we were in deed Christians. she seemed interested and said we could come back we left our number so hopefully we will get a call and be able to start teaching them and bringing them to the gospel.
i guess one other cool thing that happened is that I'm starting to get my strength back little by little I maxed out on bench at 275 so I'm pretty happy and its good to be slowly reaching my goal of hitting 300 before I leave the area so hopefully with protein and trying to live healthy I'll get it done but seems everyone out here is deciding to feed us peach pie for desert so its getting kinda tough to eat good.
We ate dinner at the stake pres house last night and he showed me the church news and that cardston made the paper which was cool I was able to tell him all the pictures and where they were and I was even able to say I knew a guy in a picture Noel Burt so that was pretty cool and it was nice to see that cardston is making headlines.
Hopefully this email is a little more informative about what I've been doing out here so enjoy but thanks for the email and for all the love that i feel when i read it. I hope you have a great week and I look forward to next weeks letter have a great week.
