March 10, 2013
Well this week went pretty darn good. Shortly after emailing home we went and played pool for a few hours with a LA PMF family following which we went and saw Tony and talked about the fast. He said he did it but that he hadn’t felt like he’s gotten an answer yet which can be tough. We got a call this morning from sis Quertinmont the lady who brought Tony to church. Apparently he’s been reading anti mormon stuff he’s looking at it kinda like buying a car you have to look at the reviews and see what others are saying about it. The only problem is the reviewers drive ford and were selling Chevrolet. But we'll talk about it today I'm not to worried but thats most likely the reason that he hasn't been getting his answer.

Tuesday was an interesting day we made chili for the chili cook off at church we made a buffalo chicken chili that was pretty dang good and it was also the spiciest chili there which is kinda pitiful seeing that we didn’t even try for heat but it was really good.

We ended up helping a LA family move into the area so we should have a little bit more work to do. The move went fine the main problem was getting the devil designed bunk bed together without instructions and not all the pieces there luckily we had a few recent fathers there who could help piece it together because I was lost, the dang thing had drawers and steps to the top bunk, way to fancy for the likes of me but we got it together and it seems to be holding.

We had  a fairly good number of cancelations this week so the teaching did slow down a bit but we were able to see Tony and right now he’s kinda the top priority.

We had an interesting talk in church this sunday as well. The stake patriarch is in our ward and he said he had been working on this talk for 7 months ever since he had a buddy of his come over and tell him that he had lived a good life even though he had 3 failed marriages and no family to visit him. So that got brother Furin thinking and wondering if he had lived a good life. So his whole talk was him telling stories about his life some weren't even spiritual but it was a really good talk. I wonder if the talk was more to get us thinking about the experiences we had had and to get us thinking have I had a good life? And if not what needs to change. I rather enjoyed it made me laugh and think about my many experiences at Echo and at the farm and then in town and Arizona and made me wonder if I’d had a good life. I think I've had a good life up to now but it aint done yet so I'm undecided. I think if I decide now that my life has been good it might end a wee bit too soon so I'm going to leave it undecided.

Church was good though I am glad that we didn’t have any new investigators the 2nd hours lesson was the law of chastity and the 3rd hour was that we can become like God. So it would have been a fun one to talk about the next lesson that we would have had.  But Tony was good and I think he enjoyed most of it.

But time is running short and I have much to do so I will bid adue. But things are still a going and I'm still kicking I hit my 100 days left mark today which is pretty crazy. But life is good have a great week love ya’ll and talk to you later.

Love Elder Kartchner
