Happy Halloween

It is that time of year when the kids dress up and eat way too much candy. It looks like Halloween around here but it definitely doesn't feel like Halloween. Last night Kayden and I went to the ward trunk or treat. Our ward has hundreds of primary children and I think they were all there in costume. Nobody told me you were supposed to decorate your trunks, we did have candy so they forgave us for our ignorance. We carved pumpkins Monday night for FHE, they look awesome, too bad by Thursday they were totally rotten. I guess we've learned our first lesson, don't carve your pumpkins too early. We are only expecting 3 trick or treaters so we shouldn't disappoint too many people with our lack of preparedness. Karson and Kayden are getting together with friends tonight so they should have a good time, Monte and I are hopefully going to do some bug spraying in the house, so we don't come across anymore scorpions.

Amazing pumpkins, you guys! At least you got some good pictures before the Arizona heat rotted them out. If Rob ever gets off the computer where I put our pictures, I'll post some pictures of our halloween.

I was laughing out loud about the pumpkins rotting!! I guess I should be a good cousin and share those little secrets with you :) Same thing goes for Christmas trees...be careful not to get that too early or you will end up buying 2 this season!!
