It's official

We just got back from a whirlwind adventure in Canada. It was time to finish the immigration process, boy was it an adventure. I had to head to Cardston a week before my family so I could make a quick trip to Vancouver for my medical. After Monte, Karson and Kayden joined me in Cardston it was time to head to Montreal for the final leg of this long long long process. Monte and I spent 3 days in Montreal, walking, eating, walking and eating. It was a great time, a bit different then what we were used to. You couldn't pay me enough to drive a car in Montreal, the taxi ride was scary enough. By a small miracle I came home from Montreal with Visa in hand. We spent 3 additional days visiting family and friends in Cardston. We were also trying to finish up our taxes, take care of some banking business, and patch a roof on our 4plex. We did leave feeling like we didn't spend enough time with family and friends but I guess it will give us something to look forward too in the summer. It is nice to be through the border and to be a resident of the USA.
