The Pool....continued again

The pool is on the move again. We were waiting for the permit to go through at the city office then we had to get an inspection. As soon as that was taken care of we were ready for shotcrete. Here is a quick lesson on shotcrete, it is not to be confused with cement, they are not even close to the same thing. I learned this from the instructions left by the shotcrete guys. We had to stick around this weekend because we have to wet it down every couple of hours during the day. Luck for us there was a huge rain/lighting/thunder storm that blew in Saturday morning so we were able to take a break from wetting it down for part of the day. Apparently rain water is perfect because there is something about it that works awesome with the shotcrete (according to our shotcrete guys again). We are getting closer to a finished product, next will be waterline tile then decking which should get going this week.

They spray the shotcrete so they put up tarping to keep it from getting everywhere. They did get a kink in their hose and sprayed shotcrete all over the back of the house. They quickly washed it off and washed and wiped off the windows. Now my back windows look like a 2 year old tried to clean them with a muddy rag. I hadn't washed them since I got back because it is so dirty and dusty in the back, now I am going to have to clean them and then clean them again when the yard is done.
