Hiking in Sedona with Friends

It was a beautiful Saturday morning in Arizona, we made the trip to Sedona to go on a hike and spend time visiting with friends. Lorin, Wendy and Max Low were holidaying in Sedona so we decided to crash their party and see a new part of this great state we live in.

Sedona is home to amazing red rock sculptures, walls, mountains. It was less then a mile hike up but it was "up" and involved more climbing then hiking. Apparently there are several "vortex's" amongst the rocks, places where there is a different energy / vibe. While Wendy and I were waiting for the men to climb up an extremely difficult rock a gentlemen came and showed us exactly where a vortex was. We sat there and actually felt a little something.
Close to the vortex...this is where they spotted a man way up on a huge rock wall and decided they were going to try and figure out how he got there.
Monte and Max headed around.
Followed by Kayden
The destination
They made it...it only took about 20 minutes for them to get up there. On a side note Kayden made it wearing Van slip on shoes.
The vortex...apparently this is the "male dominate" vortex.
Monte, Lorin and Kayden feeling the vortex...they felt like they left more then they took from it, naturally!!!
Max vortexing.
Kayden and Monte finding their Zen!!!

We also visited Montezuma's castle...if I remember correctly back in the 1400 people lived in many of these along the rock walls. This one would of been home to 35 people. Pretty amazing to look at.
