And The Record Stands for Another Year

This is Kayden from Grade 7...standing beside the high jump with his 1st place ribbon and holding the new Grade 7 High Jump Record.
I can't remember how high he jumped...I have it written somewhere, but I'm too lazy to go look it up...the bar is at the height he went out on and he was 5' 7" or 8" in this photo.
He got word this week after the Jr. High track meet that he still holds the record.

(As far as we know...Karson's 1000 lb leg press record still stands at the high school from last year. Who would be crazy enough to even try to break that one?)

We will never have bumper sticks saying our child was student of the month, or valedictorian, or on the principals list or whatever else I see around. At least we have high jump and leg press.
