Pennsylvania bound...

We found out Sunday night, thanks to Elder Kartchner sending a letter to Brad, Karson would be leaving the MTC Monday morning for Pennsylvania. Monte was told he would be getting a phone call between 4 and 5 am, and he would phone here between 5 and 6 am.

After a really horrible nights sleep, I seemed to wake up every hour on the hour, 5 am rolled around and so did 6...still no phone call.

Around 8:30 the phone rang...it was my boy :). Their bus was slow getting them to the airport so he didn't have time to call before his flight. We had heard he didn't have much of a layover (in Phoenix ironically) but the 4 missionaries managed to share 2 phones and make a few calls in the 30 minutes they had before boarding their plane.

He sounded great and was excited to get out of the MTC, he called it a cesspool. The food didn't agree with him and he was fighting a cold. He loved his time there but was anxious to get going in Pennsylvania.

I have been stalking my email hoping to hear he made it safely but alas...nothing. I am afraid we will be letter free this week. Thanks again for all your love an support.
