Yard Update's

Spring is coming, the hybiscus are blooming and the fruit trees are beginning to blossom. How I love the smell of my yard this time of year.


The rock in the yard has begun to disappear so we decided it was time to get some more spread around. (we though of waiting until our boys were home but figured it was rude to have a pile of rock waiting when then came to visit) We decided we needed 4 ton of rock to do the job. Monte got home at 5 and by 7 it was nicely spread around the yard. Unfortunately we need a good rain to get it washed off. It came covered in Arizona desert dirt, I thought it would come nice and clean...I'll have to remember for next time.

Monte ran the wheel barrel and I did the spreading...a great team.

We have been wanting to build this arbor and fence for a very long time and finally got around to it, or made the decision on how we want it to look. Monte wants to get some sort of vine growing up it....yet another decision.
