Monte and I decided to make a quick trip to Utah over conference weekend to see Brad and attend a session of conference. We arrived in American Fork Friday afternoon, went on a walk from Brad's apartment to the Mt Timp...temple (no clue how to spell that), had a nap on his couch and went out to supper when he was done work.
Saturday morning we watched conference at Brad's place then quickly headed to Salt Lake for the Saturday afternoon session. We ended up parking in a parking garage...bad, bad, bad idea. I felt like it was a bad idea as we waited forever to get in, I even mentioned we should go back and pay the $3 to park in a lot only a couple blocks away. We stuck with the plan and parked where we had a "free" parking pass.
Once we got out of there and stepped foot on temple square I was in a much better "place" mentally and physically. When we got in the conference center a host asked us if we'd like to sit in the plaza...Oh Ya!!! We were about 20 rows back which was wonderful.
Not only did we get to sit at the feet of the prophet and our church leaders we were there for the awesome MTC choir...they totally made me cry. Then to have Elder David Archuletta in the choir, wow! Honestly I'm not star struck but I think I have a few nieces who might be.

As we were getting up from our seats we hear...Kartchners...we were beyond thrilled to run into the Tayt man...Bro. Tayt Low. We had emailed his parents to see if they were by chance going to be in Utah...they were not but we got to see Tayt...great surprise!!!
