He Makes Us So Proud...HA HA HA

Well sounds like it was a good week that’s for sure with a lot going on. Glad you and Karlee were able to finish the 5 miler I'm pretty sure I could have whooped both of yall but whatever I guess I’ll let ya have your glory for this year but in 2 years I’ll come back with a vengeance. It’s weird to think that austin and chad are all over twelve now strange to think that. moronis quest should be fun this year the youth in this area are going on trek this next month so that should be fun and enjoyable for everyone. For some reason I can just see austins derrière polishing the ol piano bench as he slides back and forth hittin the ol high notes.

But it sounds like it was a fun day at the temple glad everyone could make it out its always a good place to be I still got another year and a lill before I’ll be able to make it there kinda weird not having one in the area.

But this week was a pretty good week. Before I left Hershey I decided I needed to try the Meadows Monster challenge in Harrisburg because it’s kinda something the missionaries do around here and none have done it. Elder Vallejo told me before I left that there was no possible way it was just too much ice cream so I had to prove the ol boy wrong plus if I didn’t eat it I would be out 22 bucks and that cant happen cuz in the words of monte I can carry a 20 in my pocket for a month and the only reason it’ll disappear is if the kids take it so I had to keep that puppy in the wallet. so you have 20 min to do the challenge and you have 4 bowls of ice cream to eat. The first bowl is a banana split with like 4 bananas in it and enough ice-cream for 4 sundaes so that was a big hurdle to overcome. the second was a apple turnover sundae I was expecting a slice of apple pie but they pull a fast one on you. they take an able core it peel it and then roll it in cinnamon and a breading and deep-fry it. then they cover it in a ton of ice cream. Number 3 was a brownie covered in ice cream and oreo chunks. The brownie is hot and gooie. The last sundae is strawberry short cake again covered in ice cream I love strawberries and I love cake but after the ice cream before it just didn’t taste good. But with determination and with the need of my denero back I downed the ice cream in 18 min and got my money back my picture on the wall and a free shirt that says I survived the meadows monster challenge. I am one of 7 to do so. So I guess I can say I'm kinda a big deal. Elder Broadbent and me both tried to do it I survived Elder Broadbent didn’t quite make it he almost finished the brownie. The experience reminded me of dad and bro cahoon eating the bubble gum ice cream to see how much bubble gum was in it I probably felt the same as they did at the end of it.

I was also able to play in the stake softball tournament in my new area Waynesboro area. the team I was on made it to the finals and lost by one point so we did pretty good. I ended up getting a little sun and of course I wasn’t wearing sunscreen cuz like I'm tanned so I got a little bit of a burn on the places that usually are covered by my collar but really it wasn’t that bad.

My new area is pretty cool I've been here on exchanges a lot before because it’s like 20 min from Chambersburg where I started off so its like I'm back where I started out at. It was kinda funny we had dinner on Sunday at Stake Prez Hurrleys house and he feed both Chambersburg and Waynesboro so I've eaten there like 4 times before when I walked in the kids asked there mom haven’t we had him here before, so its kinda cool to be back. The work here seems to be going well and the ward is pretty good so I'm excited to be here. From what I gathered from Pres Topham is I’ll be here for a while so that should be nice. But my new address is

96 Brown St
Waynesboro PA
17268

So mail would be nice kinda been a dry spell for a while ha.

But everything is going well out here I hit a year Friday so that’s pretty cool. Almost half  way done strange its like I just started ha. but I hope everyone had a great fathers day and I hope to hear from everyone soon and ill ttyl love yall
