Well things have been going pretty good here in Waynesboro even though I haven’t really been in Waynesboro much this last week I was on exchange in Chambersburg for most of the week so the only really cool thing that happened this week happened in Chambersburg back in the ol romping grounds. It was a pretty cool experience that reminded me that I’m sent where the lord needs me the most to teach and find the one that is lost.

I just copied and pasted this story from the letter I wrote to brad cuz its long and I’d get arthritis typing it out again but its a good experience that I think you would enjoy.

On the exchange I was able to get a hold of Bro Singh who was a LA member that we reactivated right before I left and right when I left he un activated himself so I figured I should stop in and pay him a visit. Everyone there had been trying for the last 9 months since I left but no one was able to get a hold of him. so we tried early in the day while I saw both his cars there and no answer so a little broken hearted we left and went about the day. By about 7 we had nothing to do so I decided what the heck lets go try bro singh again this time we knocked and he came to the door apparently they had gone swimming all day to the public pool a block away so they didn’t need there cars. But he let us in and he was surprised to see me after so long and he told me he was moving next week to south Carolina so I was lucky to catch him. we bs’d a little bit for like 20 min catching up he didn’t really even say that he had been less active in the time. But after about 20 min he started to open up saying how he hadn’t been to church in a while because his calling in cub scouts the pac leader was just putting everything on him like 5 min before the meetings so he would have to wing it and the leader was telling him that if you were able to sit on the left side of the meeting during church you were in the club if you were on the right you weren’t so he wasn’t liking the whole idea of people being separated into "groups." I listened to his reasoning and agreed that it was all not good what had went on. I then started to get down to brass tacks I asked him an inspired question. "why do we go to church?" his answer didn’t surprise me he said to be edified and to learn I seem to get that a loy from people who are la or even members. I said yes that is a very good reason but the best reason is the sacrament we go for the sacrament because it is a commandment from God and it shows God that we are doing his will. I explained some other things as well about how every covenant that we make is a pattern and such. After explaining the sacrament and other things I reminded him that everything is done for God not for anyone else. He started to remember that that was why he started to come back to church while I was there and that he said he wasn’t going to let the carnal man around him and at church get between him and that so he kinda in a way let my loving rebuking lead to him rebuking himself and realizing that he had done wrong. he said he was going to start going back to church in Carolina. I said that was good but I also left him with 3 more Commitments. 1 get active and meet with the missionaries. 2 re worthy yourself so that you can enter the temple and begin to wear your garments again. 3 give me your email so we can stay in touch. He committed to all 3 bore his testimony to us of the gospel and said he would keep in touch and go to church for God and Christ. Its amazing to me how I was brought back to an area just before he moved and was on exchange and able to get a hold of him when no one else could. It’s just mind boggling how the lord knows where to put us. Really shows you how inspired Pres is.

It really feels good to know that the lord trusts me enough to take care of those in the fold and that he will send me back to an old area to do what no other elder could.

I was also able to finish the BOM for the second time on my mission this week on Thursday the 21 so it was cool to be able to get it done again before I hit my year mark.

I enjoyed the package that I got this week it was nice to get a little bit of sweets from home and tell Tylissa that I’m impressed that she wrote a letter every week for a long time took me a good 20 min to get through um all I tell ya and I definitely enjoyed them.

I‘m glad that I have a family that is loving enough to think of me always and I hope that everyone is doing well and I always look forward to hearing from everyone I hope yall have a great week and enjoy life.
