I did enjoy conference was kinda shocked with the whole 18 thing. First thought was I’d be home by now second thought is that I’ll be like the difference in age from the new guys that come out as when I first got here and the sister missionaries made me feel old and haggard but I guess I’ll probably only see a few new 18 year olds before I’m home in 8.5 months. But conference was good as always elder uchtdorf gave a good talk telling me to concentrate on what matters and not worry about meaningless things.

I spent a lot of time at the church this last week watching conference and making ramen for lunch in between sessions so I had a pretty good time. The only sad thing is that while I was watching conference I could only think about granny cooking a turkey and ham for lunch while I was going to be cooking a can of pork and beans with ramen was kinda depressing really to be quite honest with you. But conference was good the mike and ikes, sweedish fish, reeses cups and skittles helped so that makes it fun and this year I didn’t have to wait for the prophet to say faith to eat one skittle off of bingo.

But the week went by pretty fast I've been doing exchanges with 2 elders a week for the last 3 weeks so at the end of this week I’ll have gone on 6 exchanges and still been short one before the transfer ends but I guess thats what I get for being sick. Transfers are this week so I’ll find out if I'm staying or going on saturday and if I'm still going to be a dl on sunday so that should be fun I kinda hope to get moved I wouldn’t mind seeing some other new place.

I acquired a nice Makita corded hammer drill this week too so I'm pretty happy about that it should come in hands some time not sure for what but I’ll make use of it.

Teaching went pretty good this week I taught a few people in other elders area’s since I was on exchange cant remember the names but there were some good lessons we tracted into this one guy that was Puerto Rican and he let us teach him and then fed us some traditional puerto rico food made by his mom and then we went and ate dinner 20 min later so I was pretty full we thought he would give us a small plate but no we each got a pork chop a mountain of rice with pork in it a salad in a bowl and then some potato salad so we were pretty full before the dinner of stirfry that we had.

We are going to teach the Whitney boys tonight so hopefully that goes well and hopefully we are able to help them progress closer to baptism which will most likely happen in a week or two.

But things are going good the faith is still strong and the world still needs the gospel so I guess I'm still in business but I love you and thank you for the letter sorry it took me so long to email you back library was closed on monday and then I just got too busy until today. So hopefully you enjoy this email and I’ll let you know Monday if I'm moving but love you and I will talk to you later.
