Letter from the Elder

Some pics from Elder Kartchner...The baptism of Adam by Elder Allred and a gorgeous sunset photo.  It makes me incredibly happy when my kids notice beauty and want to share it with me.  

Well I'm on my feet but i still feel like a one legged man in a but kicking contest but I'm doing better. Still got a cough and I'm off my anti biotic now so things are going good hopefully I'm 110% next week. This week was kinda not really slow but not really fast just kinda trotted along i guess. I had to do 2 exchanges this week so that sped things up but I was still kinda recovering so it was a little slow. We had a pretty good week. Adam was Baptized on Friday which was nice it was just a quick small baptism so everything went well. Elder Allred baptized and confirmed him which was nice it was his first baptism so I'm glad he was able to do it.  I did give the talk on baptism at his baptism so it was good just shared a scripture in Romans and then shared a few thoughts so it was a nice little service. 

We saw a few people this week that we hadn't seen in a while a few Less Actives and we found out that most of them were going to have surgery some time soon so it was a good thing that we were able to visit. We taught the Little boys who are living with there grandmother and that went well taught about the gospel of christ, faith in christ, repentance, baptism, the holy ghost, and enduring to the end. They should be baptized some time soon probably like the 20 of this month because that's when there cousin is getting baptized but we will see. 

But that was pretty much the week I'm going to be helping a lady out by changing the oil in her car tonight so that should be fun hopefully everything works as it should and the ramps hold up I'm getting my strength back but I'm not sure if i could bench a buick yet. 

But i love you and am thankful for the email its always good to get mail don't get it much any more but its good to get it. I love you and i will talk to you next week have a great week.
