A day of service

We had a great opportunity as a family on Monday. Monte's company serves supper at the Phoenix Mission Center each month. We decided to take an hour and a half and serve some people in need. It was a great experience, each of us coming away feeling blessed and grateful especially during this Christmas season. We also stopped again to look at the Christmas lights at the Mesa temple. Brad is home with us for a few days, we figured it would be a great way to finish our day. The weather here is rainy and cool. I know it is nothing like the temperatures in Southern Alberta. When Brad and I left Great Falls Sunday morning the pilot said, "This is the first time I've ever said this but you will be warming up 80 degrees in the next 2 hours". Great Falls was -20F and Mesa was 60F. I'm glad I got to experience the -30 again so I can really appreciate the warmer AZ weather.

It was really nice to see you last week Sherylee. Thanks for loving my kids, too. It's been a while since I saw Austin mush up so much. Enjoy the Mesa weather. It continues in the -20s and 30s still.
